Grace.

This is a picture of grace.

BLESSING YOU ALL to RECEIVE all the GRACE and MERCY He has for you today and the next and the next, which is an ABUNDANCE, so that YOU MAY BE REVIVED.

I stayed up too late trying to book a hotel, woke up later than I had planned. Today was supposed to be the first day of a new season of "I'm going to be on top of things day." Ahead of this game of life. Bah! Plans foiled again.

Went to take a walk with Jesus to hear his thoughts instead of the bombardment of mine. ("How precious are your thoughts towards me oh God, how vast the sum of them." Psalm 139:17)

It was a morning walk with the sun beaming across the grass when I came across these tiny dirt spiders with their beautifully spun webs. I asked God, "What do You want to say to me through this." He always has something.

So I took "some" photos as I waited to hear what He would reveal. Stillness and quiet as I finally finished capturing the perfect symmetrically laid webs and their artists.

As I was about to leave the grass to cross the street I looked down and saw the top spider and his zig zag roller coaster creation capturing more dew and reflecting so much light. This was it, this is what He wanted to say. "This is what my grace looks like."

We look at our lives and see a messy web of failures, disappointments or the pure chaos of it. We want the perfectly symmetrical. The "it's all in order." Yet we come up against the perfection time and time again falling short.

Lens change. However, these crazy webs capture the most dew and the most light. They stand ready to receive all the more grace and mercy and our lives telling all the more glory of his love and goodness heavy on its paths.

Again, BLESSING YOU ALL to RECEIVE all the GRACE and MERCY He has for you today and the next and the next, which is an ABUNDANCE, so that YOU MAY BE REVIVED.

"The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." Lamentations 3:22-23

Lamentation-a passionate expression of grief or sorrow or weeping.

"Though our sorrow may last through the dark night, his shouts of joy come in the bright light of the morning. His anger is but for a moment, His favor a lifetime." Psalm 30:5 paraphrased

For to His goodness and mercies there is no end in our lives.

"Taste and see the Lord is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him." Psalm 34:8

"Come unto me all who are weary, come unto me and learn my unforced rhythms of grace." Matthew 11:28-30 paraphrased mix

For when we do, we become surrounded by the dew of His morning, the light of His glory and grace.

And a song: "Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face. And the things of the earth will grow strangely dim, in the light or His glory and grace." The hymn: Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus
